Ignacio started teaching Spanish in 2014 in Stony Brook University (New York). After that, he has taught in language academies in Madrid (2016), Taichung (2017-2019) and Hong Kong (2019-present). He also has experience teaching at international schools and other institutions.

He is an experienced content creator: he has developed materials and resources adapted to local students (mostly Chinese-speaking students) for several language academies.

Ignacio is an official examiner for levels A1, A2, B1 and B2 of the DELE diploma examination (Spanish as a Foreign Language Diploma examinations, issued by Instituto Cervantes).

His research interests include second language acquisition, morphology and vocabulary acquisition.
