Join us for the German Alumni Career Talk Series - a relaxed, student-focused event where our alumni come back to share what happened after graduation.

This series is all about real stories and honest advice:

• How they use German in their jobs

• What it is like working in fields like business, education, culture, or NGOs

• What are their personal tips

You will have the chance to:

• Ask questions in an open Q&A

• Get practical ideas for what you can do with German after graduation

• Build connections with alumni who have been exactly where you are now

Whether you already have a clear career plan or no idea what comes after graduation, you are very welcome. Come for the insights, stay for the conversation (and snacks).

Damien Shum, Key Account Associate, Schwarz Group

Damien is an HKU graduate of 2026, majoring in History and German. He attended a summer semester at Heidelberg University in 2023. Currently, he works at the Schwarz Group as a Key Account Associate.
