Learn Thai at the School of Modern Languages and Cultures

Students interested in learning Thai are invited to enrol in THAI1001 to begin a course of Thai language education at the SMLC. The two subclasses of THAI1001 in the 2026-27AY are offered during the following times:

THAI1001-1A (Monday and Friday 12:00-13:50)

THAI1001-1B (Monday and Friday 15:00-16:50)

Those with existing beginner or intermediate knowledge of the Thai language may contact Dr. Phornrat Tiranant (tiranant@hku.hk) to seek permission to enrol in advanced Thai language course.
