English-medium elective


This course will explore Japanese visual and materials cultures from the long twentieth century through texts, photographs, objects, and moving images. Students will be introduced to a selection of Japanese art, crafts, design, and architecture, and develop skills of critically looking, reading, thinking, and writing.
