Ilaria Riboldi conducted her undergraduate studies in Italy at Bocconi University in Milan. In 2012 she moved to Hong Kong and she taught Italian as a second language covering all levels of language courses, including corporate courses for italian companies and preparing students for the official Italian certificate PLIDA. She joined the Italian Programme at the School of Modern Languages and Culture in 2016, where she had the opportunity to teach various language core courses, tutorials and elective courses. She was also actively involved in the designing of new courses.
Ilaria holds a Master Degree in Methodologies of Teaching the Italian language and culture to foreign students from Università degli Studi di Milano Statale, Milan. She has also earned a Certification in Didactics of the Italian language to foreigners from Università Ca’ Foscari, Venice.
Her interests are in the area of teaching Italian as a foreign language as well as business Italian.
