Dr. Camporese holds a PhD in Theoretical Linguistics from The University of Hong Kong. She holds an MA in Foreign Languages and Cultures from Ca’ Foscari University, Venice.

Dr. Camporese joined the University of Hong Kong in 2005. She is currently Lecturer and Programme Director of the Italian Programme which she has contributed to enriching and developing over the years by designing various new courses and teaching materials. She teaches languages courses at all levels as well as content courses ranging from Italian culture, literature and cinema, to Romance linguistics.

She actively collaborates with Italian institutions in Hong Kong for the promotion of Italian language and culture and she has organized various initiatives such as cultural events, film screenings, music and opera events. She is also constantly in touch with local representatives of Italian companies and institutions to provide students with internship opportunities.

Her research expertise is in Comparative syntax in Chinese and Italian, Romance linguistics, second Language acquisition, Italian pop culture.
