As part of the French Science Fair 2024: Oceans of Knowledge (4-14 October), 2024, students of the GLAS French programme were invited to participate in a project entitled Parcours Océans Durables to develop their knowledge on the preservation of oceans and marine resources and to discover companies, organizations and researchers involved in the field. After attending a series of events led by local and international experts, students were invited to visit the French research vessel, Plastic Odyssey on its stopover to Hong Kong. On board, they learn about local initiatives to collect and recycle plastic and ways to minimize our use of plastic items.
